This limited edition version of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith was designed and produced from start to finish including text editing, page layout, prepress, hand-sewn binding, substrate selection, and book binding. The book jacket features an original illustration inspired by Betty Smith’s novel.

The type is set in varying weights and styles of Garamond Premier Pro, a serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach. Final production of the book was done on a Minolta C1100 digital press with Neenah Classic Crest Eggshell 80lb paper.
