→ Technical Journal Design

Cal Poly Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) is a student organization that produces a yearly graphic arts research journal for entry into national competition. The journal submitted for the 2024 school year was awarded “Best Journal Design” as well as first place in the Helmut Kipphan Student Competition.

In my role as Design Coordinator, I developed the visual identity of the 170-page journal and oversaw design, layout, and production decisions for the journal’s interior, cover, and packaging. This year's theme is inspired by Bauhaus design, symbolizes unity and harmony, echoing the interconnectedness of our community. I created all the graphics and illustrations seen throughout the journal. A digital version of the journal can be viewed in full here!
